Additional Information:
This is a good playing mellophone!  It has a good amount of its lacquer worn down and there are some dents and dings in the horn.  Overall, this is still very much a good playing horn.  The mouthpiece receiver has a french horn adapter stuck in it.  We are not a repair shop, so we do not have the proper tools to remove the adapter.  If you wanted to take it in to get it removed, then you would be able to use your regular mellophone mouthpiece.  As it is currently you would need a french horn mouthpiece to play the horn.  The lead pipe is tipped down slightly and has a sleeve patch on it (see pics).  There is a second patch just below the pinkie hook (see pics).  Half of the tuning slides are moving, and the other half are currently stuck.  The first valve tuning slide pull knob is off the horn but is included if you wish to re-attach it.  The horn has got a nice clean sound to it and it plays really nicely!

Valve Info: The second valve finger button does not match the rest (see pics).
Lead Pipe Condition:
Light general wear (possible light surface scratches and/or minor dents and dings) with a sleeve patch (see pics) and a slight tip down.
It has a french horn mouthpiece adapter currently stuck in it.
Back Bell Bow Condition:
Has a light dent in the back bell bow with a small ding (See Pics)
The Bell:
Minor dents and dings and minor bell edge dents (See Pics)
Bell Dent Removal/Repair:
No evidence
Re-soldered:
Several (See Pics) the pull knob for the first valve tuning slide is off but included to be re-attached (see pics).
Metal Condition:
There is a sleeve patch on the lead pipe and a patch just below the pinkie hook (see pics).
The Mouthpiece:
No Mouthpiece is included, or other accessories. There is a french horn mouthpiece receiver currently stuck in it so you will be able to play it with a french horn mouthpiece.
The Stand:
If pictured, not included.
The Case:
Older Used Condition (Still usable but significant signs of physical wear) with a funk to it and letters/numbers painted on the side.

NON REFUNDABLE

Incomplete Return:
The item will be inspected upon return and if any original parts or pieces are missing you will be contacted to send the missing items back.  If you are unable to return the missing item/part, you forfeit the refund.  All partial items that have been returned will also be forfeited and will be the property of Musical Instrument City.

Damage during Outbound Shipping:
In the unfortunate chance your item is damaged, the following procedure must be followed exactly in order to process a refund. Failure to comply with the following procedures constitutes a violation of the return policy and therefore a refund will not be given. Please contact us immediately. Save everything, including the box, packing materials, and shipping label. Without the original box and packing materials, a claim cannot be made, and a refund will not be issued. Take a full set of pictures so the damage can be assessed. Don’t send anything back yet until we contact our insurance company.  We will tell you when you may ship the item back.  Please see instructions for return shipping below. If it is determined that the item was damaged in shipping, we will send you a return shipping label via eBay Messages.  Refunds will not be issued for merchandise, which has been damaged while in your possession.

Damage during Return Shipping:
The item will be inspected upon return and if the item is damaged during return shipping, we will contact you so you can file an insurance claim.  Because you are the shipper, we cannot initiate a claim.  Depending upon how much damage was sustained you may only get a partial refund or no refund due to the damage.
Instructions for Return Shipping:

Be sure all original parts of the item purchased are included before you return it.

In order to receive a refund our policy requires you to put insurance on the item for its return shipping.

Please use the original packing material and box.  Please use original packing material inside the case around the item.  Also use the original packing material around the case in the box to protect the item from shipping damage. If your item does not have a case, please use all packing material that the item came with to protect the item from shipping damage.

Uninsured packages or items shipped “COD” or “Shipping Due” will be refused and a refund will not be issued.
•
Once the item is received, we will conduct a physical inspection. This inspection will determine your eligibility for a refund.
